PARQ

Pay, charge, authorise

Special authorisations in the PARQ system

Special authorisations are obtained by parkers themselves on site: at a tablet, for example at reception, or with a disability card. They then park free of charge under your rule, for example for a set time.

Special authorisations at a glance

Parkers authorise themselves on site, at a tablet or via the QR code on the sign. They then park free of charge under your rule, for example for a set time.

  • At a tablet on site, e.g. at reception
  • With a disability card via QR code
  • Free of charge, also longer than others or in an otherwise closed zone

Special authorisations in everyday use.

You or your team enter authorisations in the portal. There are also cases in which parkers authorise themselves on site. These are special authorisations. Wherever there is a tablet, for example at the front desk of a gym or at reception, guests enter their licence plate there themselves. Anyone with a disability card scans the QR code on the sign and uploads a picture of the card. Then your rule applies: anyone with a special authorisation parks free of charge, for example for two hours, longer than others or in a zone that is otherwise closed. You decide which rule applies for each case and can change it in the portal at any time.

Two ways to a special authorisation

At the tablet, guests enter their licence plate themselves. With a disability card, a QR code on the sign leads to the authorisation. What applies afterwards is up to you.

  • At a tablet on site, e.g. at the front desk or reception
  • With a disability card via QR code and a picture of the card
  • Free parking, for example for two hours, longer than others or in an otherwise closed zone

Special authorisations: common questions.

You or your team enter authorisations in the portal, for example for staff or tenants. Special authorisations are obtained by parkers themselves on site, at a tablet or via QR code. In both cases, authorised vehicles park free of charge.

For authorisation on site there is the PARQ tablet stand. The tablet itself is not included. For people with a disability card, a QR code on the sign is enough.

As long as you specify, for example two hours for gym guests or for the length of a visit. After that, the rules of the site apply again.
